Isabella Cruise speaks about her relationship with mom Nicole Kidman

Amid vast rumors that actress Nicole Kidman is not very present in the lives of her two adopted children with Tom Cruise Isabella, 19 and Connor, 17 her daughter spoke to Australias New Idea magazine about their relationship.

Us Weekly reports that Isabella, who currently lives in a Los Angeles home with her brother Connor, claims that while she doesnt see her mother often, she does keep in touch with her.

I love mom. Shes my mom. Shes great. I see her sometimes and I speak to her, she told New Idea. Were a very close family. I love all of our family.

Kidman and Cruise divorced in 2001. Kidman went on to marry country singer Keith Urban in 2006 and currently splits her time between Australia and Nashville, while Cruise lives primarily in Los Angeles with wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri, 6.

After the divorce, Kidman revealed that Isabella and Connor chose to live with their father.

They live with Tom, which was their choice, Kidman said in a 2010 Hello! magazine interview, according to Celebritybabyscoop.com. Id love them to live with us, but what can you do?

Although she doesnt see her two oldest children as often as she would like, she is proud of the people that theyve become in the absence of her every day presence.

They are healthy and sane and together and are great, great people. So Im not one of those people that needs to be reminded of what I have," she told The Associated Press, according to Us.

The Oscar-winning actress also has two young daughters with husband Keith Urban Sunday Rose, 3 and Faith Margaret, 17 months.
