Nicole Kidman To Avoid 'Real Sex Scenes' By Quitting 'Nymphomaniac'
Nicole Kidman will not be starring in Lars von Trier's new erotic movie 'Nymphomaniac', according to reports, because she has decided to pull out of the film.
The Australian actress, who has set pulses racing with her sexual performance in 'The Paperboy', has quit, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The reason behind Nicole's departure have not been confirmed, but it has stirred speculation that she is not keen to star in the movie now that director Lars von Trier has claimed that he could be using real sex scenes.
'Nymphomaniac' is set to tell the story of a self-diagnosed sex addict's erotic experiences with a man, who saved her after a beating. But now Nicole has stepped away from the controversial project.
Shia LeBeouf has already said that he's up for the real sex scenes, and he was pictured arguing with his girlfriend shortly after he revealed that he reportedly sent in sex tape featuring himself and girlfriend as part of his audition.
Talking about the speculation that the movie could include real sex scenes, Shia said in August: "[The movie] is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real.
"Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."
Charlotte Gainsbourg is set to play sex addict Joe in the film, with Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, Stellan Skarsgard and Willem Dafoe also lined up to appear in the movie.
A hardcore and softcore version are set to be released in 2013.
Shia is still hanging in t! here though...
