The Moulin Rouge actress was initially linked to the film, which centres on a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac's erotic experiences.

However, Kidman has reportedly pulled out of the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Charlotte Gainsbourg, Willem Dafoe, Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, and Stellan Skarsgard are all in line to appear in the motion picture.
