The family are currently in France while Nicole Kidman films her latest movie.

But as Keith Urban and daughter Sunday Rose spent today lazing by the pool, the actress was busy pounding the pavement enjoying a jog.

The American Idol judge, 45, showed off his body in a pair of tiny swimming shorts, as he spent some quality time with his little girl at the hotel in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Keith and Sunday were seen enjoying the water and making the most of the sunshine at the Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat.

The minimal swimwear showed off Keith's toned body and left his copious body art on full display.

While the musician was flashing his flesh, Nicole covered up in a pair of black workout trousers, a top and a zip-up Lululemon jumper for her jog.

The pale-skinned beauty, who never sports a tan, was no doubt avoiding the sunshine while her husband seemed more than happy to work on his own.

Keith proved that he was every inch the doting father to little Sunday, wrapping up his little girl with a towel as she emerged from a dip in the pool.

The couple's other daughter Faith was not by the pool, no doubt being looked after inside the luxury accommodation.

Nicole took a well deserved break from filming her new film Grace of Manaco where she plays silver screen legend Grace Kelly.

The biopic tells the story of the Philadelphia-born actress, who made it big in Hollywood before she married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956.

Helmed by La Vie en Rose director Olivier Dahn, and with a reported $30million budget, the film co-stars Tim Roth, Parker Posey, and Milo Ventimiglia.

Grace of Monaco is scheduled for release some time in 2014.
