NICOLE Kidman's suburban backyard fashion shoot for new partner Swisse created something of a stir in the local community of Rose Bay.

Kidman flew home in June with Keith Urban and their two daughters Sunday and Faith - officially to support Urban as he wrapped The Voice for the Nine Network.

Months earlier the Swisse marketing team had started courting the film star to a multi-million dollar contract.

They then set to work hiring a private home in Rose Bay for a backyard shoot and recruiting the talented photographer who shot the cover of Kidman for Harper's Bazaar months earlier, Will Davidson, for the job.

Kidman had so enjoyed working with Davidson she agreed to have baby Faith appear with her on the Harper's cover - the soft images look strikingly as though they are from the same set.

While the team was styling and snapping the actress in fashions by three local designers - Carla Zampatti, Ellery and Carl Kapp, a couple of small children from the house next door climbed a fence to take a look.

They were astonished and overjoyed to find a big name star in their midst.

The three local fashion designers are justifiably proud to see the darling of international couturiers, Kidman, in their designs.
