By Lucas Shaw NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - The Weinstein Company has acquired domestic distribution rights to " Grace of Monaco ," an upcoming biopic starring Nicole Kidman as Hollywood star-turned-princess Grace Kelly , the independent distributor announced on Monday. Weinstein will release the film December 27 in limited markets, just in time for it to qualify for the 2014 Academy Awards. Arash Amel wrote the script for the film, which focuses on Kelly's marriage to Prince Rainier III of Monaco (played by Tim Roth ) and a dispute between the prince and French leader Charles De Gaulle. Kelly appeared in 11 films before that marriage, including "High Society," "To Catch a Thief" and Alfred Hitchock's "Rear Window" and "Dial M for Murder." NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The latest Nicole Kidman flick is now playing at Belcourt Theatre. The Belcourt Theatre is the only local theater to show " Stoker ." The dark, suspenseful, Hitchcock-style movie is about a teenage girl dealing with the loss of her father. Kidman plays Evelyn "Evie" Stoker, mother to the teen. She joins a relatively unknown cast and crew, including Mia Wasikowska, who portrays India Stoker, and Matthew Goode, who portrays Charles Stoker.
