Nicole Kidman Added to White House Correspondents Dinner
Tina Browns Daily Beast definitely will have the glamour table at the upcoming White House Correspondents Dinner, as it has managed to enlist this years biggest star, Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman.
D.C. sophisticates like to sniff and call the annual dinner the nerd prom, but theres been a palpable sense of disappointment around the capitol this month about the lack of star wattage attending this year's event, which some have complained is long on executives and behind-the-cameras types and short on celebrities. Still, a number of other stars lately have accepted invitations -- and there always are surprise guests.

As THR reported, Kevin Spacey will be sitting at the Bloomberg News table. J! ulia Louis-Dreyfus, Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg will be attending as guests of Time Inc.
Singer John Legend is a late addition to the Fortune group, while director George Lucas will attend as a guest of NPR. Although she opted not to run for senate in Kentucky, Ashley Judd has agreed to sit with the USA Today scribes at their table.

The event is set to take place April 27, with Conan O'Brien hosting.
So far, others expected to attend the dinner include: Elizabeth Banks, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Matthew Perry, Eric Stonestreet and fellow Modern Family castmembers, Kathleen Turner, Jon Bon Jovi, Kristin Chenoweth, Hayden Panettiere, Connie Britton, Kerry Washington, Scarlett Johansson, Olivia Munn, Courteney Cox, Harvey Weinstein, Robin Wright, Netflix's Ted Sarandos, DreamWorks' Stacey Snider and Chip Sullivan.
