Nicole Kidman tells Katie Holmes to 'stay strong' after her split from Tom Cruise

It seems Nicole Kidman is firmly 'Team Katie' in Tom Cruise's split from Katie Holmes.

Nicole, who was married to Tom, 50, for 10 years, has sent Katie, 33, a message of support as it's been revealed the couple have reached a settlement in their divorce battle.

'Nicole told her to stay strong,' a source tells Now.

'She and Katie have only spoken a handful of times, but Nicole always secretly thought she was a lot stronger than she seemed.

'She was convinced Katie would "snap" one day. She was right.'

Nicole, 45, who's now happily married to country singer Keith Urban, struggled to fully accept the strange rules of Scientology during her relationship with Tom and divorced the star in 2001.
