Nicole Kidman, Claire Danes, Don Cheadle and More React to Emmy Nominations
Thursday, July 20 was a special day for those whose works were acknowledged by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Being mentioned among the nominees for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, the likes of , , and have shared about their feelings.
Kidman, who is named a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries/Movie for her role on "", thanks the Academy. "I am so happy to share this nomination with Clive," she adds, referring to her co-star who gets nominated for Outstanding Lead Actror in a Miniseries/Movie. The nominations for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday morning in Los Angeles. "" and "American Horror Story" earned the most with 17 nods each, followed by "" and "" with 16 apiece. "Modern Family", meanwhile, was the most-nominated comedy series with 14 nods.
A gala for the annual prize-giving event will be held on September 15 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, with serving as the host.
