(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

Mrs. Keith Urban (you may know her as Nicole Kidman) is on the cover of this week's Nashville Scene, looking as gorgeous as ever. Maybe even more so. And then in the story, she has all kinds of things to say about her recent film, Rabbit Hole, like how she'd been sitting in a coffee shop in Nashville reading The New York Times' review of the play when she decided she wanted to make the movie. (Other places Kidman loves in Nashville, besides coffee shops, are the Belcourt Theatre, Whole Foods, the Ryman Auditorium, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts and F. Scott's and Shintomi restaurants.) She also talked about her life with her country-lovin' hubby. "I think we're both on a quest where we want to do work that challenges us and be given the space to do that. That's something that we talk about," she said. "But, at the same time, it's very delicate, someone else's artistic journey, and I'm very aware not to tread on his just as I think he is with me." Oh, that and she might write a screenplay next time she's out on tour with Urban.
